Merry Christmas and cheers to the bride and groom!

Over the past few years, more and more of us are living far away from our families be it both at home or abroad.  Christmas is therefore, such a special time for many as it is a great opportunity to get all our family members together!

This is why, more and more couples are choosing christmas as a great time to get married. Not only does it mean that everyone is already together but also the dates lead to fantastic ways to theme your wedding

For example, you could have father christmas come to your wedding to hand out gifts to your smallest guests? Or why not have a huge advent calendar with all your guest seating? Or imagine taking your first dance at the sound of midnight on new year’s eve? These would be magic moments that not only you but your guests will always remember.

And how about decoration? You could set the theme as Lapland with sledges, reindeers and snowflake decorations hanging from the ceiling, table centre pieces made of wood and white flowers and candles, all to make you feel the christmas spirit. Here is our pinterest board to give you more inspiration on a christmas time wedding.

The menu depends on the bride and groom. You could follow the traditional christmas menu or just select elements that give a nod to the season but choose dishes that you prefer.

One thing that the happy couple have to decide is if they want to always have christmas linked to their anniversary? While some like to have a unique day just for them, many also love the fact that it’s a time of year that they can celebrate their anniversary surrounded by loved ones.
